Congratulations to Poplar Bluff Police Patrolman Brentyn Clark who was recognized today, by fire Captain Roy Lane, for his assistance to the Poplar Bluff Fire Department. On November 25th at 0158 AM, Patrolman Clark responded to a fire call near the Poplar Bluff license bureau. He was able to locate a vehicle on fire at a residence on Kingsland Drive and relayed the address to the responding fire department units which helped decrease response time . He was then able to alert the occupants to get out of the house which had also caught fire and was already filling with smoke. After the fire was extinguished, it was determined there were no smoke detectors in the home. Great job, Patrolman Clark, for going above and beyond the call of duty.
