Have you met KTK Productions yet? Well here’s a little about us: KTK found its beginnings in the early 1980s, started by several alumni of a South City high school. Though the original members of KTK were students at the school during the mid-1970s, this is no longer the case. We are acquiring members who have seen and enjoyed KTK productions, or who just want to be part of quality community theater. KTK has a continuing goal to perform theater for the love of theater with e...nsemble spirit. We would like to continue this pursuit in the south St. Louis area, tapping the resources of the area and the potential of our members. KTK is one of the few registered non-profit amateur theater in the St. Louis area. We have members with over twenty years of experience in theater, music, dance and technical fields, as well as novices and newcomers in all fields. We welcome anyone who would like to participate in an upcoming production. To keep informed about upcoming shows, auditions and ticket information, visit http://www.kurtainkall.org/ See more

SEASON UPDATE: Due to the continuing COVID-19 restrictions and our strong concern for the health and safety of our audience, actors and staff, we regrettably had to cancel The Gingerbread Lady, our first production of the 2020-2021 season, scheduled for October. We still have 2 (two) wonderful musicals scheduled, Grumpy Old Man: The Musical in March and Ladies Night at the Rusty Springs Opry in May. It is our fervent hope that we have a vaccine readily available for everyone and that we can all make an attempt to return to normal and we will have the time to entertain you with the 2 (two) remaining productions.
The Gingerbread Lady Auditions The Gingerbread Lady by Neil Simon will open KTK Productions’ 2020-2021 Season. Director Joan Caro is holding auditions at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 1 at St. John the Baptist and will consist of cold readings from script. Actors can watch Only When I Laugh to get an idea of story and characters. It’s a play fictionally depicting a sort segment of Judy Garland/Liza Minnelli’s life and relationship. There are roles for three men: ranging 2...5-45-60ish, and three women: one is a young looking 17-25, two are attractive 45-50ish. Actual age not important as ability to act. Rehearsals will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning August 31. Show dates are October 16, 17, 23, 24 at 7:30 p.m. and October 18 and 25 at 2 p.m. An assistant director and a props person are also needed; if you are interested, contact Joan via text at 314-517-2054.
