Mr. Mario has been working so hard to keep Operation Breakthrough clean and sanitary during the COVID-19 pandemic! He grew up attending Operation Breakthrough and started as a contractor for the center six years ago. In 2018, he joined our maintenance department so he knows the building inside and out! Mr. Mario says he appreciates how Operation Breakthrough helps him provide for his big family, including his twins! ... #obstaffspotlight

Happy Halloween It may have been cold and snowy earlier this week, but we aren't letting that scare us! Volunteer gleaners are still out in the fields, gett...ing their hands dirty, all to serve hungry people in our community. Our friends and new farm to After the Harvest, TThe Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museumin Gladstone donated nearly 150 pumpkins for us, which otherwise would have frozen in the recent cold snap. The carving pumpkins were shared with our education partner OOperation Breakthrough and the pie pumpkins with kitchens in our area for holiday meals.
