In light of the COVID-19 response and "Stop Movement for all Domestic Travel for DOD Components" the Best Sapper Competition has been POSTPONED. Force Health Protection is our top priority and we will take all measures to protect the force. As we gain fidelity at the end of this response, we will look to reschedule the competition. We appreciate the tremendous hard work and dedication each Sapper team put into training for this strenuous competition, as well as the effort and many long hours our team committed to planning the event. #BSC #EarnTheRight

Based off guidance from the SECDEF ...effective March 13, 2020, DoD Components must determine whether official travel by DoD personnel to locations other than CDC Travel Health Notices Level 3 designated locations is mission essential and must defer non-mission essential travel. Mission-essential travel refers to work that must be performed to ensure the continued operations of mission essential functions, as determined by the DoD Component Based off this guidance and COVID-19 risk there will be changes and an announcement coming for BSC 2020.
