Topic: The Face Mask Hi everyone! We understand by wearing a face mask, we can prevent one of our peers from getting sick. Especially those with comorbidities. ... Our employees will be wearing a mask during their workouts, and we're asking that you do too. Also, please follow our general hygiene guidelines. 1. Wash your hands. 2. Don't use the gym if you're sick, have symptoms, or have been around someone who is ill. 3. Clean equipment after each use. 4. Socially distance If you see someone without a mask on, please let us know, and we will kindly remind them about our rule. We're here for the health and wellness of our community, and it's our job to keep our members as healthy as possible. Although you can't see us smiling, we still are! STOP So, the average person will gain two pounds over two days. If you're familiar with weight loss and how our bodies adapt to calorie restriction - you'll know that we can safely lose two pounds in one week... Yes, it takes seven days to lose two pounds...... So we can lose seven days worth of progress in just two days?? Not exactly - although seeing that 2 pound gain can be devastating, it's not BODY FAT. It's most likely the actual meal itself combined with additional water. To gain body fat, you would have to consistently eat an excess amount of calories and remain somewhat sedentary. Let's remember! Working out and eating a healthy plant-based or whole foods diet consistently WILL net you a healthier, happier, lighter body. An additional measure we've taken is hanging protective guards at the smoothie bar. This helps keep our employees healthy working behind the smoothie bar. For the time being no smoothies will be available. However you will still be available to purchase bottled water, protein scoops and of course you're favorite energy drinks.
