Friends, please consider helping a stellar local restaurant. My family has enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Avenues for the past 5 years. The days leading up to Thanksgiving are some of my busiest of the year and it is such a treat, and a luxury, to not have to cook or entertain that day. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The staff has always been warm and welcoming, and their cocktails are a welcome balm to this holiday-harried baker. This year, we will be enjoying their Thanksgiving dinner at home, but we hope to return to their dining room next year. Good cocktails are like good desserts - they’re even better when someone else makes them! Check out their nightly prix fixe to go menu, it looks amazing!

This may not be the most business savvy post, but I have a request. If you refuse to wear a mask, please give someone else your business. If you are going to be belligerent and/or rude when asked to wear a mask, please stay home. And by mask, I mean one that covers your mouth and nose. I’m not concerned about your chin passing the virus. Health precautions aside, I could have my health permit revoked for allowing you to be in here without a mask.
