World Wide Car Service & Collision Repair will remain open for business but our doors will still be locked as we have been doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect our community. We are still working just as diligently inside our building to keep your vehicles running and complete your collision repairs. **If you have shown any signs of illness, have been around anyone else with signs of illness, or have traveled to highly impacted areas in the past two wee...ks, we ask that you please let us know and reschedule your appointment. We have been doing everything we can to regularly sanitize surfaces, wash hands even more than usual, avoid touching our faces, and maintain social distancing, but our employees are susceptible to coming into contact with the coronavirus simply by opening your car door or touching anything an infected person has touched. People are contagious even before showing symptoms, so we’re being proactive. Please call 636-394-4700 for a repair appointment and we will receive your keys through our typical night-drop manner. All surfaces that need to be touched for our employees to work on your car will be wiped down; we aren’t taking any chances. If you need an estimate for bodywork, please call our office from our parking lot, *remain in your vehicle*, and someone will be out to assess the damage while you wait in your car. This feels very impersonal compared to our usual way of doing business. Please know we are just taking all possible precautions to protect our employees, families, customers, and community. We are looking for a full-time, beginner-level repair technician. We’d like someone who wants to grow with us and become part of our work family, not just someone passing through. Minimum requirements: -Valid driver license with a clean driving record -Good people skills for talking to customers -At least 18 years of age -Clean criminal background -Passion for a career as an automotive technician -High school diploma or GED -Eager to learn & a competitive drive to succeed -Punctual, reliable & honest -Non-smoking & drug-free -Some automotive experience preferred Responsibilities (will train as needed): -Oil & filter changes -Vehicle safety checks -Check fluid levels & top off when needed -Balance, mount, and rotate tires -Wheel alignments -Check engine light diagnosis/repair -TPMS light diagnosis/repair -Test charging system & batteries, replace as needed -Perform safety & emissions inspections -Test drive cars for diagnosis or to verify completed repair -Keep your work area clean -Other duties as directed when not working on a vehicle such as sweeping floors, taking out trash, picking up/dropping off customers, etc. (Note: this is an hourly position, not flag time.) This career opportunity is for someone who is interested in improving their automotive repair abilities and working their way up to become a full-fledged mechanic for us.
