FOUND DOG! Guys help us find the owners of this pitty. He was running on Antioch and we picked him up and bought him a harness. Red male pitty, not fixed, no chip, no collar, but hella sweet and perfect. He's safe at our house, but can't stay long. We've posted him everywhere and KCPP has a report for him.

ONLY 60 TICKETS left and % of ALL PROCEEDS go to help pay for Glory’s medical bills which now exceeds $6100! PLEASE READ Glory’s story below and help us CONTINUE TO HELP dogs like Glory! Glory was a breeder release who was said to have had an esophagus issue and needed an elevated food bowl. When Glory arrived to her foster home, they were unable to get her to keep food down. We tried the elevated bowl, moist food, soft food, and mush, yet she continued to vomit. She... was taken to the vet who did a barium test and x-rays and found no issues. A couple of days went by and Glory still couldn't keep food down. We moved her to a new foster home to see if they could help her out. They struggled with the same issues. Glory then went to another vet who also didn't see any issues when running tests. By this time Glory had went from 21 lbs down to almost 16 lbs. At this time we had no option but to take her to the emergency vet. They ran new tests, ultrasounds and then resorted to a scope. The scope showed Glory's esophagus was super scarred up and only had a pencil sized hole where food could go down. The scope wouldn't even fit! The internal medicine specialist said our last resort was to try ballooning this area open. If it didn't work, euthanasia was suggested as her quality of life would poor. BUT we didn’t give up hope and did the procedure and ......IT WORKED! It held the first week and Glory continued to have her esophagus ballooned for 4 more weeks. She then took a month off and had her final exam where she was released. We are also excited to share she was back up to her intake weight of 21 lbs! GLORY IS NOW THRIVING thanks to everyone that took a chance and helped save this precious girl! Meet Daisy! Daisy has been with us for several months with applications, can you believe it?! Daisy is a 16 year old (you read that right! SIXTEEN!) Jack Russell Terrier mix who has some lumps and bumps, but she doesn’t let that stop her from living her best life. Daisy absolutely loves going for walks (and can handle longer walks too!), loves treats, and loves snuggles. Daisy gets along great with the 4 other dogs and 2 cats in her foster home, but she loves her foo...d so much that she should be fed separately from any other dogs in the home. Daisy also gets along great with kids, but due to her age she would be best in a home without young children that might be rough with her. Although given a clean bill of health, Daisy does struggle with a weak bladder and will need a special family who is willing to take her outdoors very frequently. Her foster mom uses a diaper for longer periods of time indoors. Daisy tolerates her diaper well and it’s been a great solution to Daisy's frequent accidents. Could you be her special forever home? Daisy’s adoption fee is only $50, and comes with age appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm testing. Could you be Daisy’s hero today?

Welcome LUNA to Lucky 13. She's busy snagging her Sunday snooze before the game comes on. Luna is a 6-month old female pit mix. Loves to play with other dogs and is good with cats. She still gets excited and jumps from time to time, so kids over 8 yrs old are best for now.
