I’ve gotten a couple of notifications from Facebook telling me how to promote my firearms businesses (sales and instructions) toward a more diverse audience. I didn’t read them because my policy now is the best I can have. My policy is I DON’T CARE IF YOU ARE DIFFERENT THAN ME!!! If someone inquires about a class, I do not ask their skin color. I do not ask their sexual orientation. I do not ask how they identify. I do not ask religion. I do not ask political affiliations. I ...have had white students, black students, male, female, gay, lesbian, Conservative, liberal, and a couple I didn’t try to identify. All these differences, but one huge thing in common. We are all human, and we all have a God-given right to self defense. There is really only one thing that will get you expelled from my class, and that is the wrong attitude. Just wanting to remind everyone that I am still instructing. If you are wanting to learn firearms safety and the legal aspects of using lethal force when defending yourself, give me a call. I am available to teach most any time.

Where are you completely safe? When are you completely safe? I have had well meaning people tell me your firearm should be unloaded and locked in a safe if you are in your house. This incident happened to the father of a friend of mine. They are very thankful the defensive gun was readily available and not unloaded and locked away. Very probably, several lives were saved. Be prepared. Be armed. Get training.

This is a very controversial subject in the CCW world. I happen to agree with this opinion.

Pretty good article. Remember, as a concealed carrier, you are not law enforcement. Your job is to protect yourself and your family, NOT engage the bad guy, unless you absolutely have to.

Here is an example of what I teach in class. If the bad guy tries to get away, you must stop with all lethal measures of self defense.
