Teacher of the Year Nominations If you would like to nominate at UWE teacher for Teacher of the Year/Excellence in Teaching/Teacher of Distinction, please check your Underwood Parent Group on Schoology to read this morning's post. A link was provided to gain access to the nomination form and additional information. Nominations are open for one more week with the last day being January 31. Thank you! **Please note, the 12 Excellence In Teaching winners and 3 Teachers of Distinction will be recognized and the Teacher of the Year will be revealed at an April 8 Chamber of Commerce/R-7 School District reception/presentation at the historic Longview Mansion.

Eagle Dads Program Calling all dads, step-dads, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, and other father-figures. Underwood Elementary is offering a program for dads and others alike to volunteer during the school day. This opportunity would allow you to strengthen your relationship with your child(ren) and be a mentor to other UWE students. ...
