We ran into a situation that we seem to be finding more and more common. And would like to put out a public service announcement. If you look at these pictures you will see that this is a gas line. It is ran to a pool heater. Where the line comes put of the ground, that is pvc water fittings that are NOT rated for gas. If you see this problem please call your plumber and get it taken care of. Gas is nothing to joke around with.

We have a brand new AO Smith 40gallon electric water heater. We installed it about a year and a half ago and the people did not care for the color of the thing. (Little crazy if you ask me, the wanted a white one) Anyways it was only installed 10 days. We have replaced the elements and the thermostats. We are selling it for $350 or $500 installed.
