Both branches of the Webster County Library District will be closed November 26th and 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume normal business hours on Saturday November 28th.

Just a reminder we are quarantining all returned items for at least 4 days BEFORE they are checked in. Returned items will still show up on patron's accounts and automated emails will still go out during the quarantine process. Ebsco Host is the perfect source for academic journals for everyone's research project needs. For those people ready to tackle the next steps in finding a job or continuing their education, Learning Express can help you with advance placement testing as well as career skills like building a resume. Is your student ready for their driver's exam? Check out the link to the free Driver's Tests on our website! It's free too! Every student, despite their age, background, social status, or range of ability has the right to move forward in their education, and the Webster County Library is here to help.

Did you know you can register to vote here? If you live in Webster County stop by the Library M-F during normal hours and register to vote. Celebrate Library Card Sign Up Month this September! Getting your first library card is easy! Just bring in a valid photo ID and proof of physical address, fill out a simple form and you are all set. Still have your physical card, but your account is expired? Give us a call, we may be able to renew your account over the phone. Or if you can't find your card at all, just swing by with a photo ID and we will check on the status of your account. Replacements cards are just $2.... Children ages 5-16 must have a parent or guardian with an account in good standing to register for a library card. It's a step in the right direction for your child! We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to have the world at your fingertips! See more

Due to recent research information, the Webster County Library will be increasing the time items are in quarantine to 4 days. Items will still be listed on your... account and may possibly still accrue fines during this quarantine period. When the quarantine period is over each item will be scanned in and back dated appropriately to account for any fines accrued during quarantine. We realize that this can be a confusing time for everyone and we are working hard to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff first and foremost.
