Thank you The Salon at MTI's School of Cosmetology - Springfield, Missouri for inviting us back on Campus to teach a Men’s cutting class this morning.

We would like to thank Wicked Edge Barber Co for visiting The Salon and speaking to the Cosmetology Program students about their unique barbershop business model. Wicked Edge Barber allowed Cosmetology students to tour their mobile, full-service barbershop and salon that opened May 22. Laina Ridenhour and fiance Tony Abbott co-own the former shuttle bus, which follows all required laws of Missouri State Board of Cosmetology/Barbering. Our students described Wicked Edge as "super cool" and "unique", even inspiring some students to think about the possibilities of mobile salon/barber business ownership in their own futures.

Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) has cancelled classes effective Monday, March 16th through Friday, March 27th to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The Salon at MTI will also be CLOSED during this time. The Salon will re-open on Monday, March 30th, unless otherwise communicated.
