As a family had finished the trip around the facility and gathered the candy bags that the residents prepared for all the trick or treaters, I overheard a dad ask his little girl, "Did you have fun?" She jumped for joy and said, "Yes! We made them so happy!" She was about 4 years old and no one could have said it better! I had seen her dad lift her up to the windows so they could see her better. Thank you to all of the families who brightened the residents' Halloween by going window to window to strut their stuff in costume.

A special thanks goes out to Rage to Save Suicide Prevention group for the awesome drive-by that the residents could watch from their windows and Lisa Land for donating the pile of Halloween treats for the staff and residents of LSHCF.
