Hi everyone, Welcome back and Happy New year! Here is my first video of 2021 and of my first bathroom remodel of 2021. This is the before video of a bathroom that I have already started on. I know I'm a little slow in posting. But that happens when you are as busy as I am. Thanks for looking and stay tuned for more videos!
Finally got around to posting these pics of a stairway and railings I did a few months back. As you can see from the before pics the stairway seemed odd for the room it was in. the platform took up a lot of room and made the room closed in. So I removed the platform and the lower part of the stairs. As you can see from one of the pics after I removed the platform there was a hole in the floor. I put down a subfloor, then installed unfinished hardwood flooring and threaded it ...into the existing hardwood floor. I built a small platform at the end of the stairs with one step to the floor. I installed unfinished 3/4" hardwood flooring on the platform and used unfinished oak for the steps. The existing window at the small platform I had to remove and move it over about 6-7 inches so the stairs wouldn't run into the window. Installed a new white vinyl double-insulated window. Re-use the old hardwood stair steps on stairs except for one step. Installed new newel posts and oak railings on the stairs and on the upstairs balcony/hallway. Installed black metal spindles. If you notice the upstair hallway pics, you can see from the before and after pics that I shortened the width of the wall next to the stairs. Opened it up and looks bigger. Also removed the attic fan and closed off ceiling. Now you might say from the look of the pics that this isn't done, technically it isn't, but I am. The floors throughout the house are eventually going to be refinished and stained by someone else and they are going to stain the stairs and rails to match the floor. I thought it turned out pretty good. Hope you think so to. If in need for new stairs and railings or just a make over on them, give me a call for a free estimate. See more
Last year I built this deck for a client. I left three 16ft - 6" x 6" posts standing free. Knowing that I would come back and build a roof over a portion of the deck. Well, I made it back and completed the deck. This is the outcome. Have a couple of before pics so you can compare by. I used USB board for the top and put black metal roofing in the very top. Installed aluminum fascia on the sides to match the house and relocated gutter to the front.
This video is about the completion of a bathroom remodel I did. This bathroom was a complete gut, down to the studs and sub-floor. This is the finished product of this bathroom. Hope you like it and if you do, and would to have your bathroom look this nice, give me a call for a free estimate. Thank you for watching!
Sorry about posting these two videos so close together. I had to edit the first one a little before I posted it. This video is phase 2 of the bathroom remodel that I'm doing in Godfrey, IL. Hope you like! Stay tuned for more results! Have a great day!
