Mrs. Burt’s class disguised some turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving!

The students at Parkside Elementary celebrated "World Kindness Day" on Friday by participating in a Kindness Challenge. Students received "caught being kind" slips from teachers who witnessed acts of kindness. Slips were posted outside the Counselor's office and soon they covered the wall! Mrs. Krodinger's class made a thank you banner for the custodians and kitchen staff, and Mrs. Krodinger's and Mrs. Gantz's class created a handful of kindness rainbow! ... Third grade students at Parkside Elementary learned about their rights and responsibilities and had the opportunity to vote. 1st image: 3rd grade students in Mr. Gray’s class voting.... 2nd image: Mrs. Roland's class spent the morning watching BrainPopJr over "Rights and Responsibilities." Then they exercised their right to vote as a class at Mr. Gray's voting poll.
