We have watched Adalyn learn how to propel her wheelchair, take steps in a gait trainer, walk with a pediatric walker, learn how to use forearm crutches and now we watch her walk INDEPENDENTLY!!!!! Adalyn has the most stubborn, persistent, independent spirit and we are so thankful she does! SHE IS AMAZING! #thereshegoesjustwalkingdownthestreet #toughgirl #futureboss

**ADORABLE POST ALERT** Last night, Child’s Play Therapy had the opportunity to partner with SBU PT department and Go Baby Go to work on customizing a battery powered car for a very special friend, Clara. Ms. Paige Gunter, along with several students, therapists, and of course Clara and her family(Amanda Hawley Sommer) , joined forces to find the best system to support Clara. What a wonderful collaboration to support mobility; because EVERYONE deserves the chance to explore ...their environment through independent mobility.
