Hello church family, This past Sunday one of the "What If's" I mentioned in John 13 was found in John 13:34-35 I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. I am asking "if" all of us would show our love for each other in a practical way by being more diligent in wearing our masks at church. There has been so many new cases recently ...and the hospitals are experiencing the effects. I am compelled by the Lord to ask for your kindness and cooperation. I realize for some it's an inconvenience and you'd prefer not to. I am one of those. But, I am committing to do better starting this Sunday. Please wear your mask in and out of the building. If you are seated with your family and you have six feet of distance from others and you need to take your mask down, that's okay. We do it in restaurants so we can do it at church. Just use common sense. If you have a medical reason to not wear one we won't question it. That's between you, the Lord and your doctor. We will do our best to create enough space...Would you please demonstrate grace? (Thanks Pastor Phillip Oreilly for this quote.) I hope this does not drive some of you away. Would your attitude be like this: "As long as we can gather in the name of Jesus, I’ll do whatever. Masks are not the priority, the name of Jesus is." I pray that this will encourage some of you to come back. Please hear and feel my heart on this issue and receive this in love regardless on what side you stand on. Speaking of love... I loved you first, Pastor Brady Testorff

This prayer was from the people at Esther Fast: What if we really loved our enemies? What if . . . ? "Father, forgive us for not heeding Your clear call to truly love our enemies. We don’t even know what that would look like, the concept is so foreign to most of us. But if we are willing to open our minds to it, we actually do know what it would look like, for you modeled it for us on Calvary.... We long for Your righteous judgement, and have earnestly (and rightfully) prayed that justice might be served. But in our heart of hearts, we know that we too deserve judgement. And if we don’t, it’s only because we have been forgiven through the grace, mercy and lovingkindness poured out upon us through the blood of our Savior. Lord Jesus, fill our hearts with love, understanding and compassion for others. Help us to see the lost through eyes of the Good Shepherd. May we truly understand that You died for all men, and that there is no heart that You cannot touch. Teach us to pray for our enemies and against the forces of darkness that control them. May this fundamental understanding change the way we pray and the manner in which we interact with our fellow man. So let it be."
