The City of Brentwood will hold a General Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, for the offices of Mayor, Municipal Judge, and Board of Aldermen (one Alderman each from Wards 1, 2, 3 and 4), each elected for a two-year term. Filing for said offices opens Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at 8 am and closes Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at 5 pm. Declarations of Candidacy shall be received in the Office of the Deputy City Clerk at Brentwood City Hall, 2348 S. Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood, MO 63144. Candidates are required to bring a photo ID and will be assessed a $5 filing fee.

Help with Utility Bills for Income-Eligible Residents The Community Action Agency of St. Louis County (CAASTLC), a nonprofit based in Overland with a mission to end poverty, helps income-eligible households in St. Louis County pay their utility bills. The Energy Assistance program helps with one-time payment for the primary heating bills from November through March. The Energy Crisis Intervention Program helps pay utility bills when service is shut off or threatened to be sh...ut off. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, CAASTLC’s services are especially needed. Trash, recycling and yard waste collection will resume one day after the regularly scheduled day. Citywide yard waste collection will take place on Thursday, Nov. 12. ...
