The Ferguson-Florissant School District convened in-person learning today! Our District and building leaders developed a great plan to welcome back students and staff. Everything went smoothly. Well done! Less than half of our students at McCluer High School opted to return to the building, but we all were excited to see our kiddos as well as continue our virtual classes. Teaching Roomies and Zoomies was a challenge at first, but we got the rhythm before long. The high point of the day was witnessing our members of our freshmen class step into their school and classrooms for the first time. Awesome!

"When Will We Understand..." the need for caring adults to be ever-present and positive influences in the lives of today's youth?

Willie Eaglin, McCluer High School’s Dean of Students, remembered his first encounter with Michae’La. I met her as a freshman. She had potential but she was facing a lot of challenges. We've seen positive changes in her life since she joined Elevate St. Louis.
