Bethel Youth Fiddle Camp

With the ongoing pandemic, a hefty uptick in cases in the area we're postponing the October Adult Fiddle Camp. We are tentatively planning to move the dates to the spring of 2022. We're disappointed that we need to reschedule again but we'd much rather play it safe, and most importantly keep our students and staff safe. Please stay tuned for updates as we're doing everything we can to get everyone back to Bethel, Missouri for good tunes and those delicious meals at the Fest Hall!

Williams are already signed up as instructors this year with a possibility of more being added as enrollment grows over the next couple months.... $300 includes all of your meals, lodging, and tunes you can cram between your ears and onto your recorder.

Thanks to everyone that helped to make Youth Camp a success this year! There's a lot of moving parts and our director, Wendy Brumbaugh keeps everything going year after year. Thanks, Wendy! How about a waltz in A?! I learned this from a recording of Missouri fiddler, Pete McMahan a few years ago. It's probably on the upper on the skill level but hey, we have plenty of time to nail down our 2nd and 3rd position notes! More to come!... - John

The Bethel Adult Camp scheduled for 2020 is being postponed for the time being. We are hoping to reschedule for later in the year so please stay in touch with either me or Wendy. We're holding out hope for the kids camp in June but please stay tuned for updates concerning that as well. Practice your fiddle, enjoy the extra time with your friends and family right now, stay home (please!) and feel free to reach out to me for FREE YouTube videos of what I would've been teaching... this year (as my time allows of course!). It's time to start making plans for the 2020 Bethel Youth Fiddle Camp. One of the longest running fiddle camps in the country that focuses soley on teaching traditional Missouri old-time fiddling and dance. Located in the quaint town of Bethel in north central Missouri.
