New Madrid Ghost Tours

Come out to Hunter-Dawson Cemetery on Saturday October 24 at 1 pm for our Cemetery Tour! We will introduce you to Robert Goah Watson, an early pioneer in New M...adrid and Amanda Hunter's father. We will also introduce you to Elizabeth Bryan, who wrote a letter describing her personal experience in the earthquakes of 1811 and 1812; and many more! Hunter-Dawson Cemetery is located at the corner of St. Isadore Drive and St. Paul Drive in New Madrid. The public is encouraged to follow social distancing guidelines and face coverings are encouraged. See more

I have been getting a lot of messages about the status of our tours this year. I regretfully have to say that we will not have tours due to the restrictions still in place because of COVID. We would have to severely cut the group size and would not be able to use one of our locations. Maybe we can make it up to y’all in the spring. Thank you to our loyal guests and for supporting our tours each year. Let’s hope things get back to normal soon!
