This is the Rhinehart painting that Bert and I are buying. It is magnificent. We had committed to it right after Charles’ death, before Lavetta Rhinehart decided to give the rest of work to the Kellerman Foundation. This one may live at the Flag House. However.....it will be on display with the rest of his work for our exhibit in 2021. It is Bert’s all time favorite.
There are changes at the Clark kellerman House. We are transitioning to the Rhinehart Collection display space. Out with the red and navy furnishings!!! In with the taupe, blue, celadon and violet furnishings. There is a long story about that rug. Will share tomorrow.
Our favorite tree is almost in full bloom. It doesn’t last long!!!
This Facebook post for our foundation announced the donation of the lifetime work of the late Charles Rhinehart to our organization. We have 24 paintings so far, including the ones we have personally purchased since the 1970’s. As a result of needing a display space for the collection, we are going to rework the furnishings in the Clark Kellerman House in order to house and display his magnificent works. I will keep you informed of the ongoing process. We hope to open this summer for the first event. Many thanks to Lavetta Rhinehart for sharing his artistry to the world!
Favorite pics from the Fountain House.
We spent Christmas at the Clark Kellerman House. The years of good memories flood back in when we’re surrounded with the treasures we have gathered over the years. It gives me peace in an otherwise anxious year. This is our 49th year in its presence.
Merry Christmas from the Clark Kellerman house.
This piece of art lived in the stairway at the Fountain House for almost 30 years. It is going to Move to my new gallery/shop on Main Street in Cape!!
Upstairs veranda rework. Great spot....total privacy.
Actually.....it looks like this today. The last shot was before the windows were painted on Sunday!!!
And it looks like this today!!!! I’m so glad to have it clean and fresh. We are going to have a bottle of champagne on the porch tonight.
This was the week AFTER ripping 10+ years of ivy off the house. It looked lovely, but was so hard on the house!!
