Due to inclement weather and NO School in Lamar today, the Wolf Building and Nathan’s Place will be OPEN! The Wolf Building will open at 7:30am. Nathan’s Place will open at 10am. Both locations will close at 5:30pm as always.

AOK can reach kids because we provide a safe haven and second familywith daily meals, prevention education, homework assistance, and basic needs you may not expect local families to lack.... Please help us welcome Misty to Team AOK: Hello! My name is Misty Marti and I am excited to be joining the AOK team. Last year I was teaching at a school that I really enjoyed but which required a lot of driving, and, after COVID, I decided it was in my family’s best interest for me to work closer to home. I have been a Lamar resident since the fourth grade minus the five short years I lived in Texas. My husband, Andy, and I have been married for twenty-three years. We ...have three children, two dogs, two cats, and a fish aquarium. My older children, Cooper and Drew, attend Lamar High School and my youngest, Hannidy, is a student at Lamar West Elementary. I have been working with kids of all ages in various capacities for the last twenty years and it may sound cliche but it truly is challenging and rewarding. I’m ready to get started and can’t wait to meet everyone!

Parents, Guardians and Youth: Due to COVID outbreak with AOK staff, both AOK buildings will be closed this week, starting today. We hope to reopen Monday, December 14, but we will send an update Friday. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
