This week on Wednesday Wellness we focus on our Chest Press machines! Wellness Director Drew and Personal Trainer Kyle walks us through how to properly use this machine!

I want to give a shout out to Shawn Geralds, my personal trainer at the YMCA! In early October I did my biometric screening for work and weighed the heaviest I ...had for many years, even though I exercised regularly. I decided to meet with a personal trainer once a week to start out. Shawn understood the accountability I needed in my eating, and he has been faithful to ask me about my calorie log regularly. He has pushed me in strength training, showed me how to use some equipment in the wellness center, and has encouraged me greatly. Today I met my weight loss goal! I will continue to work with Shawn so that I can continue to get stronger and stay on track. If you are a member of the YMCA, I would encourage you to get in touch with Shawn as well!! See more
