We are lucky to have an exceptional woman joining Women’s Care Consultants to take over for our retiring partners Dr. Gigi Streiff and Dr. John Appelbaum. Dr. Sarah Cusworth grew up in a small town near Lake of the Ozarks and moved to St. Louis to attend college at Saint Louis University. She went on to graduate from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2014 and was awarded acceptance into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her OBGYN residency... at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 2018 where she received several teaching awards including Chief Resident Teacher of the Year. She has worked as an obstetric hospitalist on the Labor and Delivery unit at Missouri Baptist Medical Center for the past year. Sarah brings an enthusiastic spirit and exceptional communication skills to our practice. She is an attentive and compassionate provider. She is regarded as one of the top resident candidates to have graduated in many years. Sarah’s husband, Brian, is beginning his residency in the highly-acclaimed Washington University Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. They are the proud parents of Eleanor and Watson. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Cusworth to Women’s Care Consultants (at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, building D, suite 120). Dr. Cusworth offers the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic care and looks forward to developing life-long relationships with her patients. She will be accepting new patients beginning July 3, 2019. For the convenience of our established patients, all existing appointments on Dr. Streiff’s and Dr. Appelbaum’s schedules will be converted to Dr. Cusworth’s schedule at the same time and date.
