New Madrid County Weather Division

As many of you have heard we have another Winter Storm coming on Monday. It is still to early too tell exact amounts yet but all us will see some amount of snowfall here is latest from NWS Our next storm system will bring the potential for accumulating snow to the region on Monday. Model guidance shows the potential for receiving a couple inches of snow is high, and there's even a chance that the snow accumulation could be significantly higher. Continue to monitor the latest forecast for updates on this potentially significant weather situation.

If you do not have to be out tonight DON'T all roads have some kind of ice on them. Interstate 55 South of Portageville is at a stand still roads further South are worse.

Here is the latest this morning. Not much has changed still looking at higher amounts of ice especially further South you go. Overnight saw light freezing drizzle bridges and Overpasses are slick this morning, as well as black ice already on the roadways this morning so use caution
