The MVA All Comers Cross County Meet at JCCC has been uploaded on Athletic.net where runners may register. https://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/School.aspx

There are two XC meets scheduled for MVA. The 1st meet is Saturday, November 3rd at Johnson County Commumity College. The 2nd and final MVA XC Championships meet will be on Saturday, November 17th at Swope Park.

The annual meeting for the Missouri Valley Association will be held on October 7 at 4:00 pm. There will be a Conference Bridge available for those unable to attend in person: 641-715-3580 PIN 699079. For those in the general area, we will meet at the MVA Office 1601 E. 18th St., Suite 366, KC, MO 64108

Congratulations to members of the Kansas Flyers that participated in the 2018 Junior Olympics in Greensboro. Notable performances included, 13-14 girls high jump 6th place, Brooklyn Ptacek shown with Bob Smith. 15-16 3000 meter run, Taylor Briggs, 3rd place and Jayse Vath, 5th place. And a 3rd place finish in the 15-16 4x800 with Ellise Peterson, Natalie Roepke, Jayse Vath and Taylor Briggs.

Congratulations to Missouri Valley’s newest National Champion in the 800 in 11-12 category and National Runner Up in the 13-14 category in the 800. Both are members of Excelerate Phenoms. Way to Go!
