Many of you know that it has been my mission to use Uplifted Boutique as a way to encourage women transitioning out of negative circumstances. I'm so thankful to say that, in spite of me and my sometimes out of whack decisions, God has given me the opportunity to bless Dallas County, Republic, and Poplar Bluff with various donations. Transitioning can be such a scary thing. I think we can all agree. A few years ago my family experienced such a difficult trial, but through it... all Judges 6:12 continued to appear to me. Gideon is called by God to battle, but he is scared and insecure. The angel of the Lord finds him hiding from what he has been called to do. The angel tells him " The Lord is with you mighty warrior". Mighty Warrior? Gideon is hiding! How mighty could he be? That's exactly the point, though. None of us are mighty enough to stand these battles alone. We need God, and we need each other! This brings me to my announcement. Uplifted Boutique is no more....
