UCM Merit Badge University and Aviation Encampment

Hello Scouters! Emails have just gone out to all the adult scouters who registered their Troops for the 2020 UCM MBU and Aviation Encampment. This has the much anticipated class schedule and much more information. If you didnt receive yours, please let me know at [email protected].

Dont forget Troop registration opens Saturday at 6pm!! All you will need is total number of adults and youth that will be attending.. Sign up early as space is limited!!!

I'm happy to announce that the following merit badges have been confirmed. I'm still working hard to get more added. Automotive Maintenance, Aviation, Crime Prevention, Digital Technology, Fingerprinting, Fire Safety, Golf, Horsemanship, Nuclear Science, Radio, Totin Chip, Traffic Safety, Veterinary Medicine and Trail to First Class.

The Dates are SET!! The 2020 UCM Merit Badge University and Aviation Encampment is schedule for April 17-19! Troop registration will open around the first of November! Keep an eye on Facebook for dates and instructions on how to register your troop. The website is being worked on, but will return soon. We are working hard to get councilors lined up and a list of confirmed merit badges for the event will follow soon along with fees, etc. Right now we have confirmed Aviation, Trail to First Class, Totin' Chip, and Fingerprinting. More will follow very very soon!! See you in April!!

It is with great disappointment that we must announce that the 2019 UCM Merit Badge University and Aviation Encampment has been POSTPONED until April of 2020. Due to Airport Construction and other unforeseen challenges, we plan to postpone for one year and come back in full force in 2020!!! I'm very sorry it took so long to make this announcement, but we were making every effort to try to prevent having to cancel.. please continue to follow us here and on the web for updates starting next fall!!

I will be meeting with Troop leadership the first week of September to formulate a plan for next year's event. More to come soon!!!!

Great News!! I have "finally" got the class schedule completed. You can find it on the website (www.warrensburgmbu.com)! On the downloads page you will find the class schedule and 2018 Event packet along with all the permission slips needed and more. I will be sending an email out in the morning to those troops registered for the 2018 Event! As of right now, I am hoping to be able to add Graphic Arts, Moviemaking, and Robotics to the schedule, but haven't heard back from them as of yet. Looking forward to a great year at the Airport!!
