On February 29, 1952, Congress designated September 17 as Constitution Day and Citizenship Day. This day commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787, and recognizes all American citizens. Did you know that the census is written into the Constitution? Today, MTI students are learning about Constitution Day through worksheets, crossword puzzles, fun fact sheets, and more.

Congratulations to Wednesday's MTI DTC Spirit Week Mask Contest Winner, Sarah Gonzales! Sarah is a Dental Assisting Program student in instructor Peggy Beatty’s class. She won with a design by her 13-year-old daughter, who also designed Sarah’s mask for Thursday. Sarah started classes at MTI April of this year, and is expected to graduate in January 2021.
