The City of Twin Oaks is celebrating the holiday season with the annual winter lighting of Twin Oaks Park. Residents and visitors to Twin Oaks Park can now enjoy a more festive atmosphere when strolling along the park trails. The City would like to thank the park committee for their work in selecting this year's lighting arrangements. We hope the display brings cheer to all who visit Twin Oaks Park. Send your best photos of the Park in its holiday attire to [email protected] and we will feature them on this page throughout the month of December.

The Twin Oaks Board of Aldermen will hold its next regular meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. with a work session at 6 p.m. Due to the high number of COVID-19 cases in the region, we will holding the meetings virtually. Residents can participate in the meeting through phone or video conference. You can find instructions for joining the meeting as well as the agenda at the link below. You can also submit your comments to the board by emailing them to City Clerk Frank Johnson by 5 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2020, or during the meeting by using the "raise hand" feature.

The City of Twin Oaks will hold a municipal election on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 to elect the Mayor and two Aldermen at large to each serve two-year terms. Candidate filing opens Dec. 15 and closes Jan. 19. Twin Oaks City Hall will be open for candidate filing only on Dec. 15 and Jan. 19. If you wish to file for candidacy for either office outside of those dates, contact City Clerk Frank Johnson to schedule an appointment.
