Missouri State Fair was definitely missing a lot of things this year, but the biggest missing piece for us was Vanessa. It was by far one of the hardest things to do to come without her, but she would have been so proud of what we accomplished. Wow, it was one hot goat show today at the Macon Town and Country Fair! It was a nice show they put on for the youth. Hugh won Grand Champion Buck with Tri-Bak Spyker's Griffith, then was awarded Reserve Percentage doe with TRBK Tri-bak Ya You Know Me. Layla captured Reserve Fullblood doe with Tri-Bak Reis's Pieces. Jenna had a well deserved big win today-so glad to have good friends to enjoy our goat journey with!

Great time at Braymer Junior Livestock Show, lots of good goats and good friends! Kids all did a great job showing-a lot of sweat but a lot of fun. We had several class winners. It was Hugh's turn to shine today with his doe TRBK Tri-Bak Raging Tempest who was awarded Grand Champion Doe.

Many parts of life are just hard, but our "goat family" made a bright spot in our weekend. It was really good to get out and do what we love-show goats. It will never be the same without Vanessa, but the many memories are precious. Thanks for everyone's kind words along the way. Thanks for great friends that come along to share in our crazy goat trips. Great show Pagel's! Last five are SOLD! I have a few percentage does that need to find new homes-space is getting tight. All are out of high quality, 100 % fullblood bucks with genetics that go back to Maximum Impact, De-La-Rey, Cat in the Hat and Rambo. The main sire is TRBK Extra Value, who has 172 ABGA points. Sadly I lost him last winter, so these will be some of the last daughter's to sell. He has consistently given us our show string for the last several years, and those does have efficiently joined the production herd afterwards.
