Tieman Spencer and Hicks was recently able to work with a Colorado family, Bob and Marilyn Lettimore, to donate a vehicle from the assets of the deceased estate that was inherited and gift to YWCA St. Joseph. After receiving formal approval from the Lettimore family and TS&H Attorney John Spencer, TSH worked with the YWCA to locate someone who would benefit from the vehicle. The YWCA identified Yolanda Engstrand, an active volunteer at the YWCA who had been wit...hout a vehicle for the past few months causing her to miss out on several volunteer opportunities. With the Court’s approval, TSH was able to abandon the vehicle and transfer ownership of the vehicle to Ms. Engstrand on May 12, 2020. The Lettimore family’s gift to Ms. Engstrand is a beautiful act of kindness that will have far-reaching positive impacts on our community.
