PUPDATE: ADOPTED!!! We're SO happy for Diesel and his LUCKY new family!! Many thanks to all who shared!!! As we continue to celebrate Pit Bull Awareness Mon...th, Joplin Humane Society is offering an amazing special through today, waiving the adoption fee for the Pitties and Pittie mixes in their care. Unbelievably, even with waived fees, they won't all be adopted . Being surrounded by towns, cities, and entire counties with breed bans puts a severe strain on our area shelters. But it's the innocent dogs who suffer the most. This is DIESEL. He owns my heart right now!!!!! I LOVE everything about this sweet boy and any family would be SO LUCKY to have him in their life!!! With his adoption fee waived, my hope is that a loving family will take him home today! NOT because they can get him for "free", but because he's an amazing boy who deserves a happy FOREVER home.
