Asexual can be used as an umbrella term to include other experiences like demisexual and grey-asexual. Demisexual: People who only experience sexual attraction once they form a strong emotional connection with another person. Grey-asexual: People who identify somewhere between sexual and asexual. #Aceweek

Like any other sexual orientation, asexuality isn’t a choice. Unlike abstinence and celibacy, which are both choices to avoid sex, asexuality is an innate part of who someone is. #aceweek

Happy International Pronouns Day! There are different pronouns that an individual may feel comfortable using -- She, He, They, Ze are widely used. Next time you have a conversation, try introducing yourself and stating your own pronouns. "Hi my name is ______ and I go by ______ pronouns." This action normalizes pronouns and starts a respectful conversation. How cool is that! #PronounsDay
