Innovation creates opportunity. Back in July, SLU LAW agreed to place a legal clinic in our building. As the team saw a high volume of transportation cases, they started getting innovative. A few months ago, we reached out to the St. Louis Municipal Courts to establish a specialized docket (special courtroom for our cases) and they agreed. I recently moved back to St. Louis to regain stability for me and my family. The pandemic was at an all-time high, so I decided to join the Beyond Jobs program. In just a few weeks, they educated me about career building, health & wellness skills, and financial empowerment! Today, I am not only a program alum, but I am now also an employee at M:STL. I absolutely love It!
