I’ve had Italian Greyhounds for 16 years jic you ever wondered how I turned out this way. Anyway, I’m about to be the proud new ‘owner’ of this gently-used Bruno v2.0.

I asked my guys what I’m supposed to call this new special and we all just stared blankly at each other. Ultimately, they arrived at Mexican steak sammie. Maybe it is maybe it isn’t.

This is what comes out of the test kitchen when you have the best of the best. The. Best. Of. The. Best.

Meet Tara, one of our absolute favorite customers turned friend turned key crew member. She earned her stripes when she single-handedly wrangled our newest plant addition, Pokey, in the back of her tiny hatchback. Not only does she handle all things plants here, but she’s also designing our next restaurant space. We just think the world of her.

Our new scratch burger patty is made with portobello, garbanzo beans, and cauliflower. It’s decked with cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, fried onions, and chipotle mayo...and, strangely, a giant pickle rides atop.

My staff never cease to amaze me. I’ve never raised kids and my dogs are defiant little shits that still write their names on my walls and raid my cabinets (lost cause), so I’ve never before felt this intense pride. Anyway, they made sushi...because they can.

Somewhere it’s someone’s bday. Let’s celebrate.
