It's Finally Arrived! The Shady Lady is reopening on Friday, July 31. We are opening at 6:00 pm and we will party until 3:00 am. We hope all of our friends are excited and come and see our newly remodeled club. A completely new look! We are trying to have fun and be safe. Mask are suggested, but not mandatory. We have the club set for social distancing, and groups of 10 are more will not be permitted to sit together. Our space is limited, so make sure you are on of the lucky 150 that will be our guests.

To All Employees of the Shady Lady: Dancers and stafff will meet on Wednesday, July 29th @ 7:00 PM. Dress casually, and be prepared for a short meeting and locker assignments. This means all employees, both day and night dancers.... Save all of your questions for the meeting, as we will discuss what is allowed by the state because of the Covid pandemic. Good News! Good News! Good News! We hope all of our loyal customers are safe and ready to get back in the groove....The newly remodeled Shady Lady wil reopen on Friday, July 31. We will be open weekends for now and we will open at 6:00 pm, and like always, close at 3:00 am.... We know you will like the incredible new look of your favorite Gentlemen's Club. We didn't spare any expense to continue to be the Top Club in Kansas City. We know all of our great customers are ready for fun, and our incredible dancers are ready to entertain you all night long! We are still under Covid restrictions....The girls must wear masks, and will dance on stage and in the VIP sections only. We are in sterile conditions so we will not allow smoking or vaping until restrictions are lifted. We will only seat 150 people, because of social distancing, so come early to get a table. See you Friday.

This message is for all of our fantastic employees...and we hope each of you are staying home and being safe. Under the current conditions and operating conditions laid out by the city and CDC, we probably won't reopen in the month of May. Our rationale is that people are afraid and broke. Dancers must maintain distance between you and the customer, actually forcing dancing on stage only. We, at best will only be allowed 30 customers into the club. This would not be cond...ucive to make our business go! Until we can open to at least 1/2 of club capacity, we will probably opt to stay closed. Many of you followed our suggestions and filed for unemployment insurance. Continue with that until you call me or read about a change of plans. We are currently doing making some changes while we are closed. Better we do this now than wait until later. TAke Care & Stay Safe-------Joe and Pete.

To all Shady Lady Employees: Greetings from Pete and Joe. Hope everyone is doing okay and staying in. WE have been feverously checking wih government agencies to try to get you all money during this forced shutdown. Several of you have already filed for Unemployment Insurance, we would suggest that all of you follow their lead as soon as possible. Remember is will try to cover the time you are currently missing, no other times. We are looking at about a 2 week window unt...il the checks start being mailed. Amounts will be predicated on what was previously reported to the IRS. This is what we have heard up to this point. Changes might still be in the system. The next reporting that matters is aroung April 8th, when the state and city will decide what the status of the Coronavirus is, then they will give us an edict on how much longer we will have to stay in and businesses should be shuttered. We wish you all good health until this epidemic passes.

To All Customers of the SL Nation: We hope all of our wonderful customers are safe and free from the dreaded Novel virus. Please stay safe and follow the advice of the CDC about sanitizing and social distancing. During this forced closure, we are taking the time and expense to sanitize our entire facility, and make improvements that make our club just a little bit better than all the others.... To all Employees of the Shady Lady: Due to the decree from the City of Kansas City, Mo. and surrounding metro area cities, we will be closed starting at Midnight, May 16th until Wednesday, April 1. The government has informed us that this policy will be revisited on April 1st, and further directions will be directed to the bars and restaurants. ... Please be safe and stay home. This virus will only be defeated if we are able to keep social spacing and slow the spread of the disease.

Welcome Shady Lady Nation! This is the fall season, our favorite time of the year. We just finished our 33rd Anniversary Party and it was a rousing success! Great food, drinks, and a club full of fantastic entertainers. I challenge anyone that knows clubs to find more beautiful women than were here for the party. Clubs in Vegas, Dallas, or even Miami couldn't come close. The Chiefs suffered their 1st loss of the season at the hands of a very well prepared Colt's team. T...he Chiefs were flat and injuries in key spots left them defenseless. The Chiefs were in the game all the way, but the backups were no match for the front line of the Colts. The Colts ran the ball at will, and kept Mahomes off the field. Look for some exciting, new cocktail hour promotions, We plan on making your afternoon experience at the Shady very enjoyable with your favorite drinks, appetizing food, and friendly & beautiful women.
