What couldn't you live without? Right now, there are over 1000 unreached people groups who live every day without knowing the name of Jesus. What would you give to tell them?

It's hard to miss the face of God in the faces of Asia Pacific. It's our honor to be invited into their homes, into their lives, and to call them our friends.

Meet the new director of our Children's initiative, Asia's Little Ones: Missionary Doris Eckert! Doris and her husband Tim, along with their children, served as missionaries in South Sulawesi Indonesia for 19 years, living among and working to bring the gospel to the Bugis, Makassar, Torajan, Luwu, as well as several other unreached people groups. As the first AG missionaries to live in their location, they faced many new opportunities and challenges. Their primary focus was ...evangelism in remote villages without churches, leading social outreach ministries to villages that had never experienced the love of Jesus, and helping to teach and train future pastors and church planters at a training center there. Another ministry they developed was the Esperanza House, a home for young girls from the remote mountain villages to come and live in the city, where they could continue their education and graduate from High school. Without the Esperanza House these young ladies wouldn't have the opportunity at an education beyond elementary school. Doris also led Women's Bible studies, engaged in children's ministry opportunities, and ran their REACH ministry (Resource English And Conversation Hangout) where they provided a small library of books in English, and used the desire many have to learn English to openly share the message of the Gospel. But her main ministry was to her family as a wife, mom, and homeschool teacher for her children TJ, Ariyanna, and Grace. We are extremely grateful for Doris' leadership over ALO in this new season.
