Relationships can be tough. Often, the relationships with people we truly care about and spend the most time with can eventually become the hardest. While conflict and hard times are not entirely avoidable, there are resources available to help bad (and even good) relationships thrive. Paramount is the work of the Gottman Institute, where they have been studying relationships for close to 30 years. John Gottman, the creator, relies on what he calls the The Four Horseman in ...helping all kinds of relationships flourish. The Four Horseman are Criticism, Contempt, Defensiveness, and Stonewalling.
