UPDATE: We do plan to return to the salon on Tuesday the 5th but there will be restrictions. We will NOT be reopening tanning at this time. We have been out 6 weeks and feel it is only fair to start rebooking the people we cancelled first and working our way down the list. If you have an appointment already scheduled we will contact you to make sure you would like to keep it and may have to move some in order to limit the amount of people in the salon at one time. We will ...be working some extended hours to try and catch back up. We are trying our best to get back with everyone in a timely manner but please know this is very overwhelming for us and it takes time. **When you arrive please stay in your car. Although restrictions for salons have not been mandated at this time, we feel we need to do our part in helping protect our clients as well as our families, and ourselves. Nope. Conditioner does not make your hair greasy. Er, let me say GOOD conditioner will not make your hair greasy. Your hair can benefit from the nourishing, protecting effects of a good conditioning treatment. Greasy hair is caused naturally when too much sebum is produced at the scalp. Instead of ditching the conditioner, make sure to use it only on your ends and not at the scalp.

Unfortunately this one is true...because the dye molecules for red pigment are so much bigger than other dye molecules they do not fully sit in the hair shaft the way that other color molecules do. Since about half stay on the surface of the hair, it washes out faster than other colors. To help your beautiful reds have more staying power, wash hair less often and make sure to use color protecting products.
