Stoddard County Ambulance District Board of Directors and Staff would like to officially introduce the new SCAD Manager, Chuck Kasting CCEMT-P. Chuck is not a new face here at SCAD, with 25 years of experience, 16 of those years as Assistant Manager, he’s been in a supervisory role for quite some time. Chuck is a Sikeston native, but moved to Dexter in 1997. He is happily married to his beautiful wife Kelly and together, they have two sons and 4 grandchildren. Chuck enjoys ...being outdoors and spends his time off hunting and being with family. We are all very excited to see Chuck take the reins. We know he has big shoes to fill, but we have faith in his leadership and guidance. Congratulations Chuck, we are all very proud of you. -The SCAD Crew

It’s going to be hard to put 35 years into words, but hopefully my actions in those years will mean more than anything I could ever say in writing. First of all, I want to thank my family for the years of sacrifice they have made supporting what I have considered my ‘life’s calling. There have been missed holidays, cold meals and me showing up late in the back of the room because someone, somewhere else needed my help. To my family, I am forever grateful for your patience, ...and grace. To the SCAD Board of Directors, Staff and Public Service Agencies I have worked with over the past 35 years, thank you for your support, guidance and most importantly friendship. I have gained a lot of life long friends in this job, and that has been one of the biggest blessings of my career. To the Stoddard County community, I have made my life’s work to take care of the citizens of this county in their time of need. I have always been your biggest advocate and plan on continuing that work well after my retirement. Though my time as SCAD’s manager is over, and I plan on stepping back and enjoying time with my family, our friendship will always remain. Thank you all, Dave Cooper
