Bombers Hall of Famer and past USA National Team player Jim Dierker announced plans for a video documentary "Paint it Black- The History of the St. Louis Bombers" arriving late 2021. Narrated by John Goodman with commentary by Dick Ford and many others. UPDATE: Bomber Rugby Park received permission on August 12, 2020 from The US Army Corps of Engineers to proceed with construction. Thank you to SCI Engineering's Scott Billings for his expertise on wetlands delineation. We'll keep you posted on the date of our ceremony to break ground. R.I.P Jerry. Bomber legend Jerry Tajkowski passed away at home last night surrounded by his wife Patty and son Thomas. Jerry was 65 and fought a long battle with cancer. He captained the Bombers White Side for many years, winning multiple MVP awards. Jerry was a true Bomber who strongly supported the club on and off the pitch. A celebration to honor Jerry's life will be held in the near future, date TBD.

RICK WETZEL: dynamic Bombers flyhalf in the 70's, led the first MRFU rep team and first Bombers 7s team. RANDY CARDER: Bombers All-Century flyhalf, MRFU and WRFU rep, one of the Club's all time scoring leaders from the 80's and 90's. **Just Breaking** To all Mid-America GU Members : Given the current environment and concerns for the safety of our community, we will be postponing all Mid-America GU rugby activities. The GU Board of Directors have voted and due to the rapidly changing landscape surrounding the Covid-19 ( Coronavirous ) pandemic it will cease all rugby activities until March 31st, 2020. At this time, and prior, the BOD will be closely monitoring suggestions from USA Rugby, the CDC and Local ...Health Organizations to determine the best and safest course of action for our players, coaches, referees, fans and supporters. We will also be working with the Frontier Competitions Committee and USA Rugby to determine how league matches and playoffs will work upon return to play. This was a difficult decision to be made, but as we constantly promote safety on and off the pitch, the safety of our members health and well being made this decision the correct one. Please make all necessary arrangements to cancel field rentals, trainers, socials, travel plans, etc. While we can not enforce a "no practice" policy, we do discourage it during this time. If teams are going to practice please follow the guidelines put forth by USA Rugby and the CDC. ( links below ) Please be safe and take care of yourselves and families.
