Order Up: 41 Action News - KSHB-TV checked in with area restaurant-goers last weekend about the City's relaxed capacity COVID-19 rules. "It feels safe. It feels good to be with friends, eat and enjoy Kansas City again," says Nyla Foster. The mask mandate is still in order and will hopefully end sometime in May but capacity is up to each restaurant individually. Thanks to everyone who supported our restaurants this past year. Despite our best efforts in this space, we recently learned that 3 members of our Downtown Kansas City team have tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, we are happy to report that these individuals are feeling well and are recovering comfortably in their homes. In a move that goes beyond the recommendations of both the CDC and our local Health Department, we have decided to temporarily close our Downtown Kansas City restaurant. During this brief pause in service, we will work with a certified sanitation team to complete a hospital-grade deep clean of our restaurant space ensuring a safe work and dining environment for our employees and guests alike.
