Prayers for the Faithful Departed During the whole month of November, Catholics pray for the dead in a special way. If there is someone who has died for whom you'd like to pray this month, please respond in the comments so that St Brendan parish can pray for them! "It is a holy and pious thought to pray for the dead." (2 Macc 12:46)

Catechism Live Session 50 (Questions 302-306)

All Souls Day - Solemn High Mass in the extraordinary form

Join us tonight for Latin Mass at 7:00pm. For those who cannot make it in person, we will also live stream it here on our Facebook page.

We will have two special Masses for All Souls Day (Monday, Nov. 2): 8:00am (English, with our school children) 7:00pm (Latin, older form, solemn high Mass)... The evening solemn high Mass is a great opportunity to experience the traditional form of the liturgy if you're not familiar with it. A solemn high Mass involves full ceremonies, incense, and music. A worship aid in Latin-English is provided. Come and pray for those who have died!
