Hey solar miners! We recently got the car out for testing in the beginning of November and everything went well! We were able to pin point some mechanical issues that we will be working on in the final weeks of the semester. We are redesigning our parking brake to be more efficient. Electrically speaking, our battery box has been operating properly and we were able to pass our mock scrutineering for it. We had a few different people hop into the car for the first time during this testing as well. We are excited to dive head first into testing at the beginning of next semester (we have lots of thing planned)!

The student design center re-opened at the beginning of the semester and our members have been hard at work between classes and on Saturdays. The team has been reviewing regulations to make sure our car is competition ready. Mechanically speaking, our motor has been reattached and we are currently checking all of our tires. The roll cage on the car has been reinforced as well. On the electrical side of things, we have finished scrutineering on the battery box and are ready to start testing. We hope to be testing the car in the next couple of weeks.
