We had a tremendous #GlobalStrategies Summit at Seminole. Thank you for your desire to see our world reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Thank you for faithfully investing to extend the mission of Seminole to the world. Be sure to include your #missioninvestment this week and be part of the global world changers for Jesus. An extra $10 to our mission fund this week by 50 people adds $500 to support our local and global gospel efforts. https://youtu.be/q7GtNP8v8Lg... Important message about in-person service at Seminole for the next 2 Sundays. From Pastor Chantha: I regret to inform you that I have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. To limit exposure, the staff and I will be in quarantine as recommended by the CDC. By God's grace, my symptoms are mild. We want to use this time wisely. We want to pray for you! Send us an email about how we can lift you up in prayers. We commit to personally bringing your name and request to the thron...e of grace. Our staff, pastors, and leaders are helping to navigate the necessary steps to assure healthy and safe worship gatherings. We covet your prayers. We encourage you to take a moment to pray for God's sovereign work to be done. I love the way the Apostle Paul encouraged the church of Thessalonica, To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power (2 Thess. 1:11). Five Important Things You Need to Know: 1) Seminole will temporarily suspend in-person worship services for two Sundays, November 1 and 8. Services will still be available through our online platforms at the same scheduled time of 9 AM and 10:30 AM. 2) We've received permission from the publishers to stream Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes as part of our weekend worship experience. Don't miss this Sunday's worship streaming! 3) Church offices will be closed through 11/6. 4) Through this weekend, Seminole facilities will undergo extra sanitization efforts for a safe return. 5) Each Sunday and Midweek Group will need to check with their Group leader to find out what their specific Group will be doing as the next two Sundays will be online. Thankful for a representation of culture and diversity at our #globalstrategies summit. Appreciate our new ministry friends who displayed and shared their ministry and organization to our church family.

#globalstrategies Summit We live and exist in an upside-down world. A world that denies God and the very Biblical values that make people, churches, and nationsGREAT! As Christ-followers, we are not of this world, but rather only here to receive and reflect the glory of God to a sinful-world that needs our SaviourJesus Christ. This is how we turn the world right-side up. This is how we turn the world upside down----we pray! We pray to the Lord of the harvest! We seek His fa...ce. II Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. John 17:16-19 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. Matthew 9:35-38 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. The man who mobilizes the Christian church to pray will make the greatest contribution to world evangelization in history. Andrew Murray

"When the church opens its doors to the community by making its buildings available for other uses, the community 'comes to church.' Such partnerships have gospel opportunities written all over them." Thom S. Rainer Thank you Seminole for being a generous church to graciously open our spaces for our community.

Seminole Students had a totally rad time going back to the 90’s at UNITE on Sunday! The best part of the night was 1 student saying yes to Jesus! UNITE is a monthly gathering for students in 7th-12th grades, the goal is to bring together students for a time of worship, fun, and growing in God’s word together. The next UNITE is November 15. #seminolestudents #unite
