The Federalist Society is a fine organization that does not take political position, campaign for people or positions or lobby for things. This is an organization which facilitates and encourages public debate concerning important issues. This ruling prohibits Federal Judges from being a member of this organization but allows them to be a member of the American Bar Association, which take political position (liberal exclusively), lobbies and takes positions that a majority of Americans oppose. Hopefully, the United States Chief Justice will reverse this bad decision.
