A 21 year old man from St. Louis County was shot multiple times on Monday evening at approximately 11:15pm during an altercation in the 300 block of Mokane in St. Charles. The victim was in his vehicle during the incident and drove from the scene to the area of S. River Road and Riverine Drive where the victim crashed his vehicle into an oncoming vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle that was struck were not injured. St. Charles Police Officers rendered first aid to the ...victim upon arrival until EMS arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition. The victim was admitted and is currently listed in stable condition with serious physical injuries. St. Charles Police Officers and Detectives canvassed the area during their investigation and located a 22 year old man from Ferguson believed to be involved in the incident. Detectives interviewed the 22 year old man along with a number of witnesses. A number of firearms have been seized. Detectives remain active in their investigation and are asking anyone who may information to contact the St. Charles Police Department Detective Bureau at 636-949-3320.

UPDATE to Shooting on Main St. in St. Charles. On December 26th just before 11:00pm a 32 year old man from St. Louis was shot by a 26 year old man from Bel Ridge following a disturbance in the rear parking lot of the 200 block of N. Main St. The shooting victim remains hospitalized in critical condition. The shooter was quickly identified on scene and arrested by responding officers. The St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has issued charges of Assault 1st with Serious Physical Injury and Armed Criminal Action against Marcell Foster. HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION A 34 year old St. Charles woman is dead following a shooting inside her residence in the 3100 block of Ridgeview Drive in St. Charles. St. Charles Police Officers responded to the residence on Sunday shortly before midnight for a report of a medical emergency. Upon arrival officers discovered the woman inside suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene and has been identified as... Crystal Hanshew. Detectives interviewed the woman’s husband and discovered the two were engaged in an argument that turned violent during which he admitted to shooting his wife. The couple had been married for approximately 8 months and there have been no prior reports of domestic violence. A .45 caliber handgun believed to the weapon was recovered at the scene. The St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney’s office has issued a charge of Murder in the First Degree and Armed Criminal Action against Aaron Guilliams, 31, of St. Charles. A 32 year old man from St. Louis was shot Saturday night just before 11:00pm in the rear of the 200 block on N. Main St. in St Charles. As the drinking establishments were closing officers who were conducting foot patrols in the area were alerted to a disturbance in the rear parking lot of the 200 block of N. Main St. Several gunshots were heard and officers discovered a man laying on the parking lot suffering from two apparent gunshot wounds. A person of interest, a 26 ...year old man from Bel Ridge, was identified by officers on the scene and taken into custody. A handgun, believed to be the weapon used in the shooting, was seized from the person of interest while still on scene. The shooting victim was transported to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The person of interest is currently being held by the St. Charles Police Department. Charges will be presented to the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s office. Anyone with information regarding this shooting incident is asked to contact the St. Charles Police Department at 636-949-3320.
